Villanova of Monteloene is located just between the bay of "Poglina ed the Mountain of Minerva; here you will find a clean sea, sun, and a small pretty sandy beach among the hight coast line of Villanova. Also on the other site away from the sea, are the wild chain of mountains that are so suggestive that must be seen and must be discovered better.

Incontaminated sea, sun, beaches, and rocky cost, these are some of the peculiar aspect of this part of the Sardinian cost that you be able to enjoy every day.

  Ther bay of "Poglina" extend  its self on the west site amon the council of Alghero and Bosa. The territory of "Villanova Monteleone"  is touched by the sea for a distance of 14 kilometres, with costs that are high and rocky from "Poglina to  Sa Murena"

A caracterist beach is located in a little inlet called "Torre Abbandonata"  near the Church of "Speranza".

The high of the costs can reach over 500 metres and from them come down seasonal torrents that in the area of "Sìistrampu de su Segnoro" makes a beautifull water fall.

The territory gets to its maximum hight (718 metres) at the point called "pedra Ettori" (stone of the victory) in memory of a battle won  from the local inhabitants against the Turks: the are today is also know as  the "Picada de sos Turcos"  ascended of the Turks.

Other important mountains are the mountain of Fulcadu, Mountain Cuccu Mountain Ruju A few more words are necessary to be said about the Montain of Minerva (644 metres) for its historical importants and for its beauty;  its important for its rampart with a flat summit and horizontal from the walls of "trachite" high and to precipice, inserted from tufaceous formations more to hold; Entirely isolated on an immense altopiano that itself protende on the part eastern.

A 'trip on these mountains is advised, to the discovery of beauties, rich incontaminated spa,  beautifull corners; but also to enjoy the gastronomic speciality typical in the numerous agriturismi-farmhouses of the zone.

Most of these spas end into the River "Temo" that has origin from the mountain of Pedra Ettori, and that goes all the way along the territory of Villanova  to the point of almost touching the village and then turning to south where end up in thes ea of Bosa.  

The new provincial road of connection along the panoramic cost of Alghero and Bosa, allow you to enjoy the singolar and wild part of the cost line of Villanova.
